We list licensed clinicians, pre-licensed clinicians practicing under supervision, and certified practitioners — each with a badge that says plainly which they are. Credentials we recognize include:
- California-licensed clinicians: psychologist (PSY), LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
- Psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners offering therapy alongside medication
- Pre-licensed associates (AMFT, ASW, APCC) registered with the BBS and under supervision (in-training badge)
- Clinicians practising in San Francisco, the East Bay, Marin, or the Peninsula
- California-licensed clinicians anywhere in the state who see Bay Area clients by video
- PSYPACT-participating psychologists seeing clients across state lines
- Community clinics and training institutes with genuinely low-fee slots
- Licensed clinicians and supervised associates only — we do not list coaches
Non-licensed practitioners are listed within their scope: profiles describe your work accurately and don't use clinical terms reserved for licensed care. US-based practitioners first; international listings are coming — apply and you'll be first in line.
